Sorry been away to play with my salts. LOL Hawaiian white salt is the most common and is very salty. A little goes a long way. This is best used to rub down steaks and roasts. I do like to add it to my marinades also, esp. on vegetables that i'm going to grill. I do add it to my water when i'm boiling pasta also. The red and white is good when you are making your own batch of dry rubs. Red doesn't have much difference than the white...to me anyways. lol It's got properties from red clay which gives it iron-oxide. Red is great for prime rib and pork products. Black salt just has added charcoal properties. This is great on salads, vegetables. Exceptional on Sushi, grilled steak, teriyaki chicken or tofu. And it looks pretty on foods. Paying for this course??? Ok...who do I make the check out to.

That's basically it. It's also very course salt. So some people put it in a grinder. But I like course salt. I haven't tried any grey salt?? How does that taste?
