| I'll eat almost any veggie and fruit out there, but meat I'm WAY more skeevy. Some of the foods mentioned here that people hate I wouldn't even consider food! LOL (eyeballs??? YUCK!) Most meat aside from the usual chicken, beef, pork and turkey I probably wouldn't even put in my mouth! I'm soooooo sketched out by meat. I don't think I can say I HATE too much but a list of food I prefer not to eat and won't make, order or try others is : Any recipe with Ricotta cheese (poor fiance loves lasagna and I won't even learn to make it), I don't really like Buffalo sauce. I don't like Crab meat or Sea bass or mahi mahi fish very much. I HATE Okra. I HATE liver. I won't even try Sardines or Anchovies, but I love Sushi and eat all kinds of it, like eel, octopus, raw salmon, tuna. I don't like bread & butter pickles and won't eat them, but I LOVE Dill pickles. And believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of frosting. I much prefer the cake. haha

| Oh yeah, to the person who hates cilantro & green peppers, here is a recipe for you: Sofrito, puerto rican style (this is a must have in my freezer at ALL times) Delicious cooking seasoning that has no salt, preservatives, artificial anything. You cannot get a healthier way to add flavor to almost any dish. Whole head of garlic Lg Yellow Onion 2 green peppers 2 red peppers 2 Italian peppers 1 bunch of cilantro 2 tomatoes Cut and clean all veggies, cut into chunks. Blend them in a blender (use a tad bit of olive oil to get the first batch going, after that just use some of the juice from the last batch as you add more veggies and pour out more juice). Pour all juice into ice cube trays and freeze it. Put blocks of seasoning into a freezer bag and keep them in your freezer for quick, already measured out seasoning. I add a cube or two to almost any meal. Add a couple cubes to homemade (or jar) spaghetti sauce Add a couple cubes to homemade soup Add a cube or two into the meat when you are making shepherds pie Add a cube into the water when making plain white rice Put a cube on meat when you bake it in the oven Thaw some and add it to meatloaf before baking it This can literally be used for almost anything and tastes sooo wonderful. For those with high cholesterol who can't use salt or seasonings bc of salt, this adds so much flavor you won't even miss salt!

I have 2 thoughts on this. Supposedly Ricotta cheese is VERY easy to make (its on my list to try) and tastes NOTHING like the crap we buy in the stores. Secondly, you can sub cottage cheese in lasagna if you like that.

| I know! Isn't it delish??? I LOVE it! Whenever I run out I'm running out to the store to buy the ingredients! I never double the recipe though bc it will get freezer burn too quickly. I have bought jarred and frozen store bought sofrito in the past and NOTHING is like homemade. LOVE IT!!!

bummer! I LOVE spanish food! One of my all time favorite foods. I need to learn how to make pernil myself! My ex fiance (we were together 10 years) was puerto rican and I had pernil a lot with all his family gatherings... but we broke up 6 years ago and Ive only had it a handfull of times in the last 6 years and I MISS IT!

I have to pick out all the cilantro in mexican food, and viet foods they use it a lot too. But if it's cooked in like a sofrito, it's hard to pick it out. Mex and viet, it's usually just tossed on top. LOL Easy to pick off.
