It's funny that you should say that it's not the most appetizing looking dish because to me it kinda does look appetizing. I guess coming from the culture I grew up in i've seen way worse. lol I actually haven't had this exact dish but I have had this type of braised meat before. Yummy but so bad for my belly, arms, and thighs. LOL

We only recently acquired Target in the last few years. LOL I really want a Sonic here. I don't know why...maybe because of all the commercials I always see on t.v. lol

I love candied yams. I love all the thanksgiving fixings for that matter. Esp. cranberry sauce and stuffing! YUM..

Oh you don't gotta tell me that, I know! Seems like everyone at my cousin's wedding a few weeks ago told me already!

Today I had 2 grilled fish tacos; salad with walnuts, onion, dried cranberries, feta, lemon only for dressing; ceviche tostada but only 1/3 of the shell, and a cabeza taco w only 1 tortilla; some seaweed for a snack; a few olives; and my drink. hopefully I won't go crazy in a bit.

Where do you get your fish tacos from? I love feta.

Since i'm still not feeling so good, I just had a bowl of tomato soup with sour cream and a half of a regular grilled cheese sammy. Not one of those mayo ones. lol

I have two joints I get my fish tacos from. One is my fav authentic place that has all signs in Spanish. La Fondita in Fullerton, CA. That's where I get my menudo, huitlacoche, tortas, etc.

Then there is the "white people place" called CA Fish Grill in Brea. They have fried or grilled fish tacos, also same with shrimp. The filling of the tacos are good but the tortillas are hopeless. I eat them with a fork so I don't eat the tortilla. Although they do have the BEST clam chowdah outside the Palace Station in Vegas.

Plain old Cinnamon Pop Tarts and coffee. Not good but quick. Really craving pizza as has been way to long since I've had my pizza. Those fish tacos are sounding good, too.
