Trying out a new slow cooker pork tenderloin recipe. I think I will team it up with garlic mashed potatoes - and what ever fresh veggies I have left in the fridge

Alright new tomatoe and zuccinni with cheese oven bake - steak on the BBQ garlic bread and fresh corn on the cob! Oh yums! Yessiree summertime is here.

Our kitchen (and bathroom) are done and decorated! All we're waiting for now are the floorings yippee!

So although I could cook in my kitchen, it was SUCH a to-do (organised chaos yuck!) that I couldn't really throw myself into it? God bless the bbq

So I've just made de-boned roast chicken marinated in honey + mustard...garlicky roast potatoes...cauli cheese, peas + sweetcorn...

It's actually very sunny and 'muggy' here - not the ideal conditions for having the oven on for hours - but I have because I CAN now!!!! xx

Haha. I have been eating regularly. Not much of an appetite and doubt I've gained more than a pound or two; but now that I don't have full meals, hot, varied and delicious, delivered to my room on a tray by a smiling waiter in a crisp white shirt, bow-tie and tailored black apron as in Remington - lol - meals are not quite as easy. But I've been eating small amounts at least 3 times a day. And that York peppermint really sounded good - one of the few sweet things I've wanted lately. Can't wait until I crave a hot fudge Sundae!

Well, good to know you ARE eating regularly but sorry you still don't have much of an appetite yet. Perhaps you have to hire the cute waiter plus chef to get you feeling more like food?
But it will come, your poor GI system has been violated and needs to heal.
Hope the pain and discomfort are reduced now and that you are feeling better and have a little more energy.

As for me I had a lovely pretzel roll with tasty tomatoes, ham and cheese. Mundane but very good!

Could sure use one of those Remington waiters bringing me one of their meals on a tray right now.

And BTW, that pretzel roll with tomatoes, ham and cheese sounds really, really good right now. Could really go for one!

Don't have an iPhone but I do have a regular one with more than one take-out phone # on speed dial! Been waiting to crave something.
