Yesterday while I was out and about, I picked up a piece of Spice Cake with the most wonderful vannila-spice-buttercream frosting for a snack today.

Turned up the central heat, took a hot shower and climbed into flannel pajamas for an evening in front of the TV with Tibbe and for some reason began craving a big, cold glass of sweet Lemonade. Made myself a huge glass and Tibbe scented it and is fighting me for it. He licked some off my lips and then began trying to get to the glass to drink it! I gave him some more on my fingers but that was all I dared. But he's wanting more but is not going to get it - not sure whether lemonade is okay for dogs. Never ever had a dog want Lemonade before.

Roast beef with a horseradish + mustard crust.....roast potatoes....YORKSHIRE pudding (

)....honey roast parsnips....cauliflower cheese....carrots + peas.....oh, and 'our' gravy....

How VERY British!!!!

I'm so hungry and that sounds like such a feast right now. It's a long time before lunch as I ate breakfast late. Roast beef - oh my. Roast beef juice alone is totally wonderful. And Yorkshire pudding/horseradish to go with - my utter weakness. I'll probably have vegetable soup and crackers or a baked potato for lunch - yuck. You Brits sure know how to live, Sally!

But I may just have a Hostess cupcake for dessert!
