Macaroni salad asked the deli girl to add banana peppers half a cinemon donut and activate vitamin water...after spending 5 minutes figuring out how to open and drink it.

Chilled cantaloupe slices after vegetable plate. It has been a while since I've had a giant baked potato, I think that will be dinner. Have bacon bits, chives, etc., for the trimmings. Or, just dump some hot chilli on one.

We actually buy it live. I am to squeamish(sp?) to watch but I think it's cruel the way they kill the pig. They stab it in the neck and bleed it out first because they make a filipino dish called dinaguan out of the blood. And yes..to me it's disgusting. blech... Oh and all the while the pig screams and cries. BUT cooked over the fire like this...it is delicious. LOL
(It's also rubbed and stuffed with pickling spice)

p.s. I wish we had Wonkavision! lol

Ohmygosh, I couldn't gag down a bite unless my life was literally depending on it. Oh, lord, didn't know that went on. Oh, goodness. I would probably be a total vegetarian if I had to see what goes on to get our meat!!!!! I'm the squeamyishest person about that there is. I can just see a story on the news about a cow staggering around and I can't eat any meat for two weeks! I hardly eat meat anyway just because of the health problems associated with a lot of it. I don't even like to watch poor fish just caught struggling to breath as the fisherman smilingly holds it up. And hooking and stabbing those giant tuna and such - yikes! But at least when I do eat meat it's only a serving size I have to see on the plate and aarrgghhh - not the whole animal. I guess I'd have a serious problem at a luau now. The only one I ever went to years ago in Hawaii I stayed way away from the large pigs but at least they were already all cooked, dressed out and on the table and had flowers and pineapples, other disguises all over them so people couldn't see them so well. I'll have to admit, the pork was to die for but still I couldn't eat but a couple bites as my stomach just turned over and over it felt like knowing where it had just been cut from! But without those whole pigs on the table, I can eat pork. But living there, I guess you get used to it after a while. I do know I could never hear the pig go through all that. They'd have to hit me over the head with a camera to stop my screaming and running from the scene! Tough stuff.

Well, I just had a toasted English muffin, butter and grape jam!

Co-op salad bar, had to buy raspberries to add to it and then I ate ALL for them, plus a strawberry fruit leather and a white choc Luna bar. Followed by an Odwalla superfood in original green.

Neighbors do that...but they tie it it screams then, police were called once sounded like a child screaming.

Anyways they use the first cut to sever the spinal cord though its like instant death then they bleedit...maybe because they are Mulim they kill it quick...I thought Muslims didbt eatpork but the husband dies it and maybe just his wife is Muslim...they're all Philipino.

Maybe you could encourage your neighbors to use this method the blood doesn't clot abd they can still bleed it out before taking the meat.

Maybe because they habg ut head down it still bleeds out without tge geart pumping it.???

Ohmygosh. This just sounds awful. I could never work as any type of farm hand or person involved in this portion of the meat industry - the killing part of the animal. That would turn me into a meatless eater faster than anything!

My grandma's first job when she was 12 years old was being a block kid...running up and down a line swinging on a chain attatched to a large netal block that whacked cows on the head before they were dropped into a grinder in the slaughter house!

Growing up my Nanny aleays had bunnies in a hutch in the yard. I used to get mad we weren't allowed to play with them, its because sge didnt want us getting attached they were not pets they were food...

I prefer free range antibiotic free etc organic meat. I eat meat, I see no reason to be cruel to tge animals even strictly used for consumption.

I love the wholr Jewish Kisher idea that animals must ve treated not only cruelty free but killed humanely.

Anyways I just had tomato soup.
