You could do that. Those are sometimes old so it's hit and miss. Or find a Mexican person who has a back yard. You can find fresh ones there.

I love ensalada de nopales. It's always so cool and refreshing!

A mexican person with a back yard? they just grow in mexican people's backyards? Even if I did find it fresh, I don't know how to prep it. I will just buy it in the can/jar. I like nopales con huevos too. Maybe I will have that in the morning.

Yeah. Practically everyone I know has one. Even we had one in the house my dad rents out. It probably died because our tenants don't care.

They're actually really easy to prep. It takes a total of 20 mins!

The restaurant I'm at now, the tv is on. They play soccer in the sand? Omg that must be tough. The field is a lot smaller but still! Running in sand? No thanks!
