I've decided to be very good today - so just having coffee with an iced apple danish....(that's not really very good, is it?!!)

A grilled cheese with truffle cheese. It said it was good for grilled cheese but it had a diifferent kind of flavor than your used to and Im undecided if I like it or not yet

I'm with you on that one. I tried a truffle MAC and cheese from a shi-shi restaurant in Newport beach, and they said it was the best MAC and cheese ever... well I beg to differ. Most expensive? Yes. Best? Naw I doubt it.

Oh, so bf and I shared two sliders from the Monster Burger truck, and a fried chicken and mashed potato slider and clam chowder from the Burnt truck. MB bf liked a lot. It was ok, needed more sauciness. Clam chowder was too cheesy, made it kinda sour, but the fried clams on top were good.

I know Id take good ole colby cheese in a grilled cheese over truffles anyday. It had a strange type of aftertaste also. I threw it out. Im the most experimental one in the family when it comes to food so I knew if I didnt care for it it wasnt gonna fly with my Husband or Daughter either

i didn't like truffle mac that much either. my fav mac is actually super cheap at panera bread YUMMM

apparently there is a great mac and cheese with bacon on top from the BaconMania truck, but I can't bring myself to pay $5 for a small cup with some bacon on top, and to make myself eat something THAT fatty, I'd be paying for in in my waistline too.
