There was a clear winner. It was so clear that I didn't even have to make a sandwich for testing purposes. I opened up the regular mayo, swiped it with my finger, tasted it and said "holy s**t that's awesome!". The difference between the Hellmann's regular and light mayo in terms of taste is not even comparable. The regular is thicker, tastier and oh so yummy. However, it has 10 grams of fat compared to 3.5 grams. I'm anxious to try tuna fish with my new-found mayo and even though the taste is far superior, I will probably dispose of the bottle shortly and go back to my light mayo

I have found that i actually use less reg mayo than low fat. Maybe use the full fat mayo in the tuna but use less. A little goes a long way. Like I posted earlier, I use like 3x I normally would when using the low fat trying to get the same full fat taste.thanks for the experiment results!

a few years ago I learned accidentally that using MAYO instead of butter on the bread when making grilled cheese makes a very crispy yet moist crust!

I never use butter on my grilled cheese now!

I said I LEARNED accidentally. I was out of butter. I improvised

bc I"m a mayo freak. Not only do i use it to toast the bread, but I put another layer inside the toast, both sides. mmm, it's been a long time since I've had a grilled cheese sandwich.

You two are killing me! I eat grilled cheese all the time!! Of course I use fat free cheese and whole wheat bread, but sure, I could try it with light mayo instead of light butter.
