| Green beans are ready! 1st canning of the season Wow, we went out last night and was overwelmed with all the green beans that were ready. the canners are cooling off as i type, let the canning season begin!!!!!!!!!!! guess its 1 way to keep my mind off the upcomming surgery we ended up picking cuks, zuccini (sp?) and green beans--lots of maters about 50 cents size, so i will be busy with grean beans for awhile yet. then will come the pumpkin for pies and breads, maters, potatoes, corn, peppers (all types), okra. and fresh melon---mmmmm

| I love this time of year!! Fresh veggies are so good. I can't stand grocery store stuff. Especially tomatoes and cucumbers. The fresh are 1000% better!!!!
