I remember a huge clear bottle, bigger at the bottom, it was almost decorative and I believe the wine was called "Tyrolia"? It was really good. Anybody remember that one?

| Personally I love the Muscato wines the best but I'm developing a taste for sweet red table wines as well. Here in Missouri we have tons of wineries (who knew Missouri produces lots of wines?) and my husband and I have taken to visiting them on occasion. We have been having a lot of fun and learning a good deal about wines. If you get a chance visit several wineries and do tastings. They are the experts on wines and can talk with you to determine something you might like. I usually like their house wines but my favorite is a Muscato Allegro that is bottled in California (about $9 in stores) Teresa |

We went for Thanksgiving a few years ago and had dinner at the Grove Park. We stayed at a cute B&b.

Moscato is my favorite too! It's great for parties and get-togethers, a big dinner, or a glass at night just to unwind.

| My favorite wines are white - mostly Reisling and Pinot Grigio. Red wines tend to put me to sleep. I have been reading a lot on the Moscato - so I think I will give it a try. As for the health benefits - its only in the red.

Usually the only time I have anything alcoholic is when we go on a cruise. But this thread led me astray Luckily a bottle of wine will last me a week, only having one glass a night.
