It is a type of snail...my Mom used to make it. I guess it is an Italian dish being it is a recipe from my grandparents. Scungilli is tasty but...knowing what it is...

I get seasick too....but never on a cruise ship :thumbup:

No, and I take two of the Southern Belle gowns (sometimes wear one on one of the formal nights), and I take at least 10 hats - love wearing hats.

Nah - Bruce just has to unload the cases on to those carts at the port, so he doesn't have to carry them. They are delivered to the cabin door.
When we leave we do get one of the redcaps or whatever they are called to get them to the van for us.

Never had menudo, but don't think I would like it. I like the tripe cold with vinegar.

If we didn't live so close to the port we wouldn't be going on cruises.
We did go to Miami to go on the Freedom in 2006, and I was a mess when we got there, was in so much pain. Never make that long of a trip again.

How about pickled pigs feet???

in my younger days (many moons ago it seems:eek:) I used to cast a net at the base and catch a lot of Mullet. I loved it when I caught some with roe in them. Lovely sauteed.
