| What is wrong with my yorkie!?! I have a 3 year old male Yorkie. Three months ago I took him to the vet because he had a creamy discharge coming out of his penis. They aid that it was a sheath infection and gave me some cream to treat it. It went away and now it is back. Could it be something else or why would he be getting this infection again? He doesn't hump things and he is not fixed. Could he just be ready to breed? Please help if you have any info. Thank you!!

| Sorry, I've never had that happen to my male Yorkie. But wanted to ask you, did they also give you antibiotics for him to take when they gave you the cream? Just wondering cause I don't know if he would have benefited from taking the antibiotics also. Best Wishes to you & your Yorkie. I hope the vet's able to cure him of this now. It's so frustrating when the infection comes back after a small amount of time.

| It has nothing to do with him being ready to breed. He has an infection. He either needs to be on the antibiotics longer or switched to another one. If it doesn't clear up, your vet should do a culture to find out what antibiotics he needs. |
