| I just love Himalayan's. I once had 2 that were 1/2 Siamese and 1/2 Himalayan. The most beautiful cats I've ever seen. I've always wanted a full blooded Himalayan. I must say that I am jealous of your situation!

Remember that the nesting instinct goes into overdrive in humans when pregnant. Flower may be trying to tidy up a bit (or alot) her surroundings in close preparation for the Event! Keeping fingers crossed...

This have nothing to do with the color of their back but with the color of their points ( ears , face , paws and tail ) . White means they will have chocolate , blue or lilac points . Cream means the color can vary from warm brown to very dark brown ( almost black ) , flame point , lynx point or tortie point . | |

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i'm just seeing this thread now. Oooo, i can imagine how you're feeling. i've helped deliver a few litters of kitten when i worked at the shelter. it was great, and much easier then delivering puppies. good luck to you and flower! i hope she has them soon. it sounds like it can be anytime now.

They are very hard to find around here. Most everybody just has your typical inbred farm cats that they want to get rid of. It's really sad.

I keep checking every day to see if the babies are here yet. Seal point is a dominant color so it will all depend on if the parents are carriers of any other color. For instance, say the Mom has one seal point gene and one recessive color gene and the father has two seal point genes, all kittens will be seal point and approximately half the kittens will be carriers of the recessive gene. Same thing is mother has two seal genes and father has one seal and one recessive. If both mother and father have all seal genes, all kittens will be seal and have genes for seal. But say Both the mom and dad have one seal gene and on recessive gene, approximately 3/4 of the kittens will be seal (with 1/2 being carriers of recessive gene) and 1/4 with have both recessive genes and will be the recessive color. So it is possible to get colors other than seal if there are other colors in the cats' lines
