				   | Just spent an hour with sweet Flower..yes I say sweet..she is more loving and affectionate than my two cats put together lol...I think they are too spoiled and forgot to appreciate the hand that feeds and spoils them lol...I hope after the kittens are born and gone to their new home that my other animals will get along with her..my biggest worry is she will attack Reece and Soleil and injure them..Hope and Ming (my cats) probably will see her waring signs to stay away but my dogs will just ignore her growls and hisses and jump on her to play like they do with my cats now..the cats are so used to it here that I never worry...Ming is declawed (not by me) and Hope is a like a dog herself!! Oh well I guess I will let that go for now and just hope for the best.. Tonight Flower is laying flat on her belly...Ive never seen a cat lay like that in my life lol...she is talking to me alot...lots of stories to tell!! Dawn |

				   | Just wanted to send good luck wishes to flower and her soon to be babies. What a wonderful person to take her in and love her. I wanted to share a funny story. Many years ago I took in a stray cat that was pregnant. I did all the right things and made her a safe place to have her babies. She woke me up one night and had climbed under my covers and had her babies there. What a wonderful surprise to wake up to. But made me feel good that she trusted me enough to have them there. |

as my houseful of animals would really stress her out. I thought for sure I was going to wake up to babies as she was very restless last night and very vocal!! She was also laying weird...like a frog!! I even dreamt she had her litter..but that was from lack of sleep cause I was up until 4am checking on her because I didnt want to miss the labour lol.. Maybe she wont even have them this week lol... Dawn | |

I thought for sure it would have happened already!! I guess its just my wishful thinking. I am so glad that she is warming up to you... I know she must have been thru alot in her old home but I know with all the love and care she is receiving from you she will be giving back to you in no time. I am so glad that she found such a wonderful forever home with you!!

				   | we had a wild "kitten" show up at our door once. I kept feeding her every day but she would never let me near her. well, i started noticing that her belly was getting very fat!!! surely it wasn't from being fed every day so i realized that she was going to have kittens!! well, she started warming up to me..but never enough to where she would let me bend down and pick her up. she would rub on my leg but as soon as I showed interest in petting her, she would run away. I knew that I wanted to get her and the kittens once they were born so that I could be around the kittens and make sure they were tame so I could find them homes. but I had made so much progress with her that i was afraid that once the kittens were born, she would get wild again and be mean. well... a couple of weeks went by and suddenly i didn't see her for 2 days. on the 2nd day, i went asking my neighbors if they had seen her. one neighbor was having some construction done and one of the workers said that they found some kittens but no mama. so they brought me the kittens...I put them in our extra room with lots of towels, blankets, and such. then i found her and brought one of the kittens with me...MUCH TO MY SURPRISE...she followed me into my house...and into the room where the kittens were. she was sooooooooooo affectionate towards me. almost like she was thanking me. I kept her and the kittens in there with everything they needed until the kittens were old enough to go to new homes. I spent several hours a day with them and they were the sweetest bunch of kittens ever. once they were all gone, mama went back outside (she really wanted to!!!) and she became our outside pet she was a great cat...and a great mama to those babies.I hope and pray for a safe delivery of those kittens. and hopefully your new family member will be like ours was...and trust you enough...and will become affectionate the way ours did. it was truly a wonderful experience for me!!!!

				   | We had a stray cat that we let in because she was pregnant and her and my peakanese who never had a heat took to this cat in a weeks time. well when the cat started having her kittens she went wild. her first kitten she had she had jumped up on our big screen tv and dropped the kitten out. I was freaked out. I got her down and tried to calm her down but she was running wild, My dog ran after her and layed beside her and when her labor started back up he took both paws and layed across her and held her down, her next kitten was born. Me and hubby was like what the heck. but with each kitten my dog helped clean and each one born she layed across the momma cat and it calmed her she had 5 kittens and momma cat and momma dog layed and cared for those kittens and my dog cleaned and licked on the momma cat too. I had never heard or seen any thing like it ever. after a few weeks Momma cat/dog wanted the kittens to her self and so we had to seperate them because she was trying to keep momma cat from them and let them nurse off her, lol but she didnt have any milk, so she got to visit with them and play with them but not stay with them 24/7 like she wanted. |
