| I'll be saying prayers for him. Sometimes it's the fight in the animal, not the disease. He sounds like he's doing good, and I hope he stays that way.

| another update on my Brucie boy... Our vet wants him in on monday morning for more check-ups..she wants to go back in where they cut out the mass and remove more of the 'margin' of skin, she also wants to aspirate his lymph nodes in the area and she wants to scan his liver and spleen. she has said it is a Mast Cell Tumour stage 2. hopefully all these tests will come back clear...if not..i suppose he may end up having chemotherapy after all. my poor boy..i'm dreading having to take him in, he was so upset the last time.

| kezza, keep your chin up and research all you can on-line about Mass cell tumor stage 2. A client of mine just had his dog operated on w/ a stage 1 and things went beautifully (and it was in a difficult spot too). I wish you and yours the best! Just know you have treatment options out there. |

| Another Brucie Boy update... Picked him up from the vets earlier this evening..he is not a happy boy and whimpering quite alot...he is now having a well deserved sleep tucked up with a blanket around him. His spleen looked normal, liver was normal shape and size although there was a 'patchy area of irregular density liver tissue' that may need further investigation. lymph nodes looked normal. She removed more tissue from the area of the tumour and this has been sent back to the Oncologists to be looked at. his scar is huge this time but i'm happier about things than i was before.
