thanks girl...i am waiting for 7:30 CST to call both the Vets to see who can get me in...she is doing a lot better but I still want peace of mind...so here I am sitting at work waiting to make the call...the one that can get me in the soonest will be the one i go to...that means i am going to have to take off work and go to the vet and then come back and make up my time...its going to be a very very long day...and the week isn't over yet..long sigh*

just came back from the vet...she doesn't think it is PARVO..more on the lines of what she had ate...so she injected fluids into her...and some antibotics...and sent me home with some amoxicillian type of medication to administer starting tomorrow since she has already injected some antibotics...

took her home and she is sound asleep now back and work...was told that if kandie doesn't get better or i feel more concern then to bring her back for some labwork. She also felt on kandie tummy and stated that there is a lot of gas buildup probably from the food she ingested but don't feel any bones or other foriegn objects...

so i am hoping that kandie starts to get better here in the next 24 hrs.

I'm glad it's nothing too serious! I'm sure she'll feel better in a couple of days.

Most Yorkies have very sensitive digestive tracks. Mine will actually get bloody puddles if they eat raw meat. I don't think your baby has Parvo since she has eaten scraps from the BBQ. You will really have to watch her very closly when your grilling and have people eating outside.

thanks...this happen the morning after the grilling evening...i didn't know someone threw some meat in the grass..or else i wouldn't have take them outside until everything is cleaned up...a good lesson learn...
