I have Papillons and Yorkies and yes Papillons do shed, not a lot most of the time. I have found that about twice a year, they shed a lot, but the rest of the time they shed some. More than yorkies of course. They are smart dogs and get along with other dogs very well. If you are interested in one, let me know.

did you get them from a good breeder
actually they'r ejust for home so the quality isn't important! but the temperment is!
I need a dog that can put up with Tila.

I breed Papillons and Yorkies. I have 4 adults that I need to place in homes as my allergies have overtaken me and my son and we need to find homes for them. They are super sweet dogs that get along with my yorkies very well and each other. Let me know if you may be interested any sooner.

I have a Japanese Chin. He's the 4th I've owned in 16 years. They shed alot, are so very sweet, but not the most intelligent breed. Their other qualities more then make up for it. They are prone to heart murmurs, and hip issues and luxating patellas. I lost a female at 5 yrs. to sudden onset seizures. The other two had really bad hearts at 7 yrs. and 8 yrs. and passed away. So far the current one has a grade 1 heart murmur at 3 years but has no obvious symptoms. They are funny little dogs, very happy, quiet, and clowns. I had only one that ever barked when he heard a strange noise.

I have been emailing a breeder allllllllllllllllll night long back and forth back and forth...I was looking to get one in the future...late summer..then she showed me a pic of a 10 month old...gawd if I was out of Christmas debt "Frankie" would be MINE..she is soooooooooo sweet and 4 pounds of cuteness...man oh man they are darling dogs!!

My friend has three. They are sweet little guys and have never see any of them fight or growl. One is a bit hyper and won't mind, but any breed has those darlings. The only thing bad about them is their shedding. Boy is it ever bad. I think it's a bad as the Corgi's.

Hmmmmmmmm I was lead to believe they only shed bad seasonaly and inbetween seasons sheding was minimal...well thats a big eeek...

Hi,
I am having babies soon (well.....not me personally haha) but my Papillon. She is due this week (1/30-2/6). If anyone is interested---PM me. I live in Indiana. I have several YT members that have my Yorkies. I only have 3 Papillons. As for the shedding, mine only shed bad twice a year and that lasts a couple weeks. They do shed the rest of the time, but that is very minimal. That has been my experience with them. Papillons are very smart and sweet dogs.
