| Took Rosco to the vet We noticed a rashy spot on his side so we took him to the vets and he has a 'hot spot'(he had a hot spot on his neck when he was younger). She said anything could have caused it, maybe a bug bite, and she shaved him so now he has a big ugly bald spot and put him on antibiotics. The good news is he lost 14 pounds since I put him on his diet and now he only weighs 156 pounds and she also said he looks very well taken care of |

Glad to hear the hotspot is being treated. ZoE had a wierd lil black spot on her paw last summer that she chewed at. I made a vet appt & shaved it down & put antibiotic ointment on it. The next day when we went to the vet, it was half the size. It went completely away within a week .

| LOL! I hope Rosco's hot spot heals quickly. Poor boy. Happy to hear that he lost weight and had a good checkup otherwise.

| I have heard about hot spots. My mil's border collie had one and he looked silly for about 6 months until his hair filled back in It went away though, so hopefully Rosco's does too. Great job on losing the weight Rosco!! You must be pretty tough to own such a big dog... Rosco weighs a lot more than me! lol
