| Oh, Kat, he is totally beautiful - exotic and awesome! What a lovely animal! I fell totally in love looking at each of his pictures. Looks like he's straight out of the jungle! Wow. His coat and markings and rich colors are striking. What is that - a smokey rich tan base color? It is georgeous. I'm so impressed with this lovely boy and pray that his shot and Rx make him feel better overnight and that he's well soon. Hopefully the big guy just has an irritation and nothing more is going on with him.

| He is gorgeous and I hope he is feeling better. Many moons ago I had cats and remember something like that happening to one of my boys. If I remember correctly, I had to change cat foods, because there was too much ash in the one I was giving to my cats. Honestly, I am not up on cat health right now, so is ash in the food still a concern or has that been fixed through the years?

| My vet used to breed Bengal cats and they are just beautiful and I understand, full of personality. I hope the vet is right and it's just stress..... |

| Update: Well the UTI seems to be under control, PTL. He is using his litter box only, and I can't palpate a large bladder on him ever. But now, he's acting like he's not neutered. The vet said he was, but the crying all night long and trying to get out of the windows is driving me and DH insane, not to mention the lack of sleep. The vet is checking to see if there is a blood hormone test for male cats... possibly could have his testies in his abdomen and slow to mature. IDK... HELP US! Lol!

| Ooooh! You just gave me an idea! From his size and gentle temperment, I assumed he is from an F1 generation. In this gen, all males are infertile. If he turns out to be fertile, I could have a million dollar kitty on my hands! Lol!

| haha! You mean as a stud? He is absolutely gorgeous!!! I'm sure you would have a lot of l female-kitty breeders lining up for "dates" for their females. But then you'd have a lot of night-howling, wouldn't you? And what do they call it - spraying?

Thanks for the compliment! We've had him since 2009, December... So he's 5 years old. (He was estimated at 2YO when we got him) He's never acted like this come Springtime, so we're all quite baffled. Vet suggested try walking him outside on a leash. My 23 inch Buddy Belt fit him good! Came in, slept, woke up, ate, and meowed for 4 hours and tried to tear the AC out of the windows to get out! I'm getting too old for this, lol!

I'm like you - don't know how stud owners of cats stand them. I've heard some pretty tough to live with stuff goes on with stud male cats. Do you think there is a female kitty in heat nearby that is causing this? I don't know a thing about if they can scent them from afar like dogs do or not or even how long the female heat lasts. Or if it is hormones - maybe he' hurting or something but that wanting to get outside sure does sound related to mating activity, doesn't it? I've known people with intact male cats that just tell awful stories of destruction and howling and spraying. It sounds like they are miserable during this time. Poor boys!
