What? I've never ever heard of that before.

The Yorkshire Terrier also has high prey drive, but though my yorkie was nothing but good to my mice for example.
My yorkie sometimes plays with a Wheaten and they are nothing but friends.
He also has few rottweiler friends, dobermans, schafer friends and more I've never seen a dog mistake him for a prey.

Dogs know whats a dog and what not if they are raised around other dogs, both small and large, they should not mistake a dog for prey.

Go ahead and buy a Wheaten from a good breeder, remember to always buy a puppy that has parents that are temperament tested (all breeders should temperament test they're breeding dogs, always, to make sure that the puppy's will be good temperamented.)

Thank you Lorraine for that excellent information! I have never considered a Wheaten just because I love my Yorkies and focus strictly on that breed, but you can NEVER have enough accurate information "stored in core", and I may be in a position to recall and share this valuable information with someone else one day! Thanks!
