| I think its a mixed dog?? I found this: "This is a toy breed. It is a rather new breed; it is made up a combination of Papillions, Japanese Chin and Maltese. Some breeders have said Shih-Tzu also. No matter what this breed consists of, it is a upcoming new breed and will be a fantastic choice for you. It is a very healthy breed of dog. They basically have NO known hereditary or congenital defects at this time. They are great with children and easy to take care of. This breed also does not shed."

| I have a customer who has a MiKi dog - I made the tiniest bellyband and bumpkins barrier set for him and he was only 1.2 lbs! I can ask my customer if she can give the name of a Miki Breeder. I'll let you know if I hear back.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Ive seen a few Miki's and honestly they all look like different dogs. they don't have a standard look in my opinion. maybe because they are still new but i think different breeders mix different dogs into their Mikis. i've seen some that look more shih-tzu then anything.

| The hereditary or congenital defects part is not true. It can't be true given that there are problems in the breeds that make it up. Genes don't care if they are in a purebred or mixed, it just takes that combination from each parent of the problem genes to exhibit the problem and with enough dogs/puppies out there, it will eventually turn up. Don't be fooled by this type of claim. |
