| Sparkie is a rescue I took in this past summer, he looks to be a bichon, poodle, terrier mix He came up to someones house two counties over and the people could not afford the vet care that he needed, so they posted him online and I went and got him When I rescued him I had a full blood panel done, along with all his shots The blood panel came back fine Well he still has this skin problem, should I get a allergy test done? He has another vet visit Saturday for this Is there anything that I should get from the vet or make sure is done for him? He is a great dog and has come along ways since I rescued him, he actually plays now where he did not before. |

| my Bichon Daizy has allergies. its a tricky tricky thing, because the thing that is going to help you best is to find out what the puppy is allergic to..( ya I know,)..but when daizy was a puppy her allergies mostly affected her eyes, but now that she is 6 it is skin allergies. and the only thing that has worked for us is using fish oil in her dog food, or using a very good high quality food that is high in omega 3 and 6. we found the dog food called Chicken soup for the dog lovers sole a let me tell you it was unbelievable, in no time all the scratching and hot spots just stopped. I have a golden retriever who has very bad skin allergies since we got her as a puppy, her skin would flake and she would actually get huge bald spots, that looked like a bad case of eczema. and shed omg!! But not anymore, thank god, her skin and coat are beautiful now, and minimal shedding, and I never see her scratch anymore..this stuff has been a godsend, but if you cant find that brand of food, try the fish oil capsules..hope this helps
