Try a spoon The last kitten i had wouldn't eat off of a plate only a spoon.

How is she feeding with the bottle?
What does the vet say?

She is feeding from the bottle fine. The last time I was at the vets she was 4 weeks old and I wasnt trying to wean her. He did give me some prescription cat food he said she might eat but she wont. I started bottle feeding her because the only time the mother is feeding her is at night. I read on the internet and someone said one of their kittens wouldnt wean and it just got weak and died. I was scared that would happen to her. Ive also read that some kittens dont wean untill as late as 8 weeks old. I dont know I just wish she would eat some food Im trying everything I have read.

Have you tried a different brand of canned food?

We use 9 lives It's garbage but it's the only one that has Alot of gravy & they love it. It's good until there eating good or til there eating dry.
Also Take some dry food & soak it in water & mush it up Try that. One of the kitten's only liked that.

My guy's ate there first meal And actually Ate at 4 week's. But still nursed til they went to there new home.

will do! I am going to give it untill 6 weeks (this Thurs) and if she doesnt wean call the vet

Well I tried the food watered down and mushed it and she wouldnt eat it

Well I got her to eat a little canned cat food. I just opened up her mouth and put it in and she chewed and swallowed it. Instead of giving her a bottle later Im going to just feed her the canned catfood that way. I just want her to get used to the taste of it then maybe she will start eating it on her own

That's good. Try a different brand she may like Another one better.

really as long as she's eating something that's good.

Update I got her to eat from a plate today. I was so happy. She will be 7 weeks tomorrow. She is also using the litterbox.
