Introducing...the ADORABLE new addition to my family!

I just wanted to update and let everyone know that the girls are doing well. They are on a protein rich prescription kitten food as well as immune building vitamins. In a few days we'll be changing to regular kitten food. They have started jumping off the couch, but are still pretty clumsy overall. It's cute.

We got a letter from the vet yesterday about Jack. It still breaks my heart to think of him and realize how much he will never get to experience.

OMG, too cute! I love how in the very beginning (at about 15 seconds) they both went after the toy and crashed into each other! It's great that they are going to be used to dogs too.

Now I want a kitten!

LOL, that was my husband's favorite part too.

On a side note, sorry the video is so long. They just kept being cute and I couldn't turn it off!

O those kitties are so cute. I'm so sorry to hear about Jack. You guys are doing a great job with those little ones. How in the world did you spot them on the side of the road?

My sister's kids found them. They said they just saw them...they were wrapped in a towel.

Poor babies... I don't know how people could do that to them... all of the cats I've ever had came from bad situations... especially Mojo... and Squeaker... Trixie at least had a home with like 50 other cats and dogs...

We just got back from a vet visit. Shadow had lost a lot of hair over the weekend so we took them to the vet again. They both have ringworm, though Shadow's is much worse. They are still there now, getting a lime dip which they will have to have every five days until the symptoms go away. Marty and Maddie have an anti-fungal shampoo just in case as well.

The scary part is that the vet is worried that they were able to get ringworm even though they are on immune building vitamins. She says it shows that their immune system still isn't doing very well and that they may have leukemia or aids. She says it would also explain what happened to Jack. She can't test for leukemia or aids until they are between 9 and 12 weeks old so we are just giving them as much love and affection as possible in the meantime.

I can't imagine losing these girls after already losing Jack. My heart is breaking all over again.
