| Chloe I feel like I talk about Chloe so much, you already know all about her Here are a few pictures I have of her when she was younger. I don't have a lot. The first is the one her breeder sent me, I think she was like 16 weeks old. I got her at almost 6 months, which is the second picture, her first week home. THe next is her first christmas with us and then the last is more recent. (oops the pictures are out of order, the 3rd picture is her first week home with us) She is the most wonderful little dog, we all enjoy her very much. |

| She's a pretty girl! How old is she now? How much does she weigh? And how in the world do you keep her pure white? |

| How in the heck do you keep her that white?! and no tear stains?!! I'm in envy! I have my Maltese her name is Cloey too, she looks so lemony and dull.. I don't know what i'm doing wrong! What shampoo/conditioner do you use and what is your trick with the tear stains if you don't mind me asking! |

| I don't have a problem keeping her white, that is the color she is. If she gets dirty it washes right out. If you are talking about tear staining, it is usually caused by something, in my opinion, and if you find the cause you can usually fix it. Chloe will get a small amount if she has an ear infection or going through a heat cycle. Recently we went camping and I left her with my mom. They are doing construction on their house and she came home with a wet face and some tear staining. I'm sure it was all the dust and stuff. She's back to normal now. Some dogs are just lucky not to have it at all. Some are really bad. I love her breed so much it wouldn't matter to me either way. I feel like if you can't get rid of it, you can either drive yourself crazy doing all of those annoying treatments they have, cut it off or live with it. Just isn't a big deal to me. Chloe's not quite 2 years old and she's about 7 lbs. She's getting kinda chubby, cause she's not wanting to go out in that 110 degree weather and neither do I! I cut about 4 inches off her length of hair but it didn't really help she's just really hot all the time. |

| Ever since I got Cloey she has been a lemony color. I went on another maltese forum and they told me she will lighten as she ages. but so far.. i think it's the shampoo that's making her dull.. I use the CC that i use for my yorkies on her, maybe she needs a whitening shampoo. I don't really know what's causing her tearstains. what are you feeding your little one? |

Have you ever heard of using that blue fluid you buy in the laundry detergent aisle? I forget the name of it, but my mom bought it once and tried it. You put a like a drop of it mixed in with their shampoo or something. (If you use too much it turns them blue) I'm not sure if there was a difference or not, I can't remember but you might want to try it and see?

We feed Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's SOul. We had very good results with my mom's little malt using this food. She had VERY bad tear staining and we can finally see her pretty little face.

| yes she was lemony as a pup, but i see her roots are growing in white, but she's just not as white as yours! she mats too easily too and she still has a cottony coat.. she will mat just playing with my other two.. is that blue fluid a name brand or not? i might stop by target and see if they got something! |

Her matting may get better as she gets older, it may not. When they are losing their puppy coat they tend to mat a lot more.

| Do you feed all of your kiddies Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul? Is this for adults or puppies? I think because I need to start to ween Oreo into adult food (he's 8 months old now! sheeesh!).. and Cloey is 5 months old and Ginger.. I think i need to keep her eating puppy food for when the babies come. they are all eating Innova EVO at the moment. |
