| Yes I called them and their son came over and appoligized and said he would chain the dog up. I told him I had talked to county and if I see him over here again her won't be coming home. Now I know this may offend some of you but this is my property and my animals safety he has already had a taste of blood and has already been back over here after I talked to the owner trying to get in their cageI don't think his owner had been able to catch him yet and chain him.

| I think you need to report the owners for negligence! and report them to the humane society too. Those people don't need to have a dog that they can't take care of.

| I don't get why people think its ok and/or safe to let thier dogs run around off leash!! What if the dog got hit by a car or something worse? Im sorry about your chickens, thats horrible!

| Exactly we love to be able to go out and pet them and talk to them and feed them grasshoppers . Sadly the 2 surviving chicks died we had a really bad storm move through and then I found them dead so I don't what happened if it was the storm they were in their house so who knows. I want more chickens though.

| i am so sorry about your chickens... its a shame that your neighbours can't take control of the dog. and why would the dog come and kill chickens? the dog must be very aggressive, in which they need to be chained at all times with heavy duty chains. i don't know if this is true but this is what i heard. when a dog bites (other animals or humans) they crave the taste for blood and will go and harm others hence they will need to be put down... i had a friend that i knew from middle school, her german sheppard had to be put down because it bit another dog. she didn't personally tell me because we stopped being friends but a friend of mine who goes to same school told me this. also, i am from canada (rules might be diferent in differnet countries/states or provinces) |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'm so sorry about your chickens - that's pretty scary - - but I hate to hear of dogs chained - why can't they put up a fence instead of chaining him ??? |
