Thanks soneal for saying how pretty hee color is. But sadly tiny little Bitsy went back to the breeder. I had her at the vet and her two frontal lobs were not closed. Bitsy was 4 months old today, and should have closed alredy. The vet said she was high risk and could leak spinal fluid without even bumping it. I was like what?

So I called the breeder and she was happy to get her back...she had said she was going to keep her for herself and now she will.

So Furgie still needs a sister...sigh...

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. Glad the breeder is able to keep her, I am sure she will try and give her a comfortable life. If you are still looking I highly recommend the breeder I bought from. Depending on the size and sex is how she prices, Remy, a male going to be about 10inches tall and 6 lbs. wa $800 that was including airfare. The girl I was looking at was going to be amaller and I think she said $1200. I hope you find the perfect little girl, I have just fallen in love with the breed.

Hi! Where in MS are you? Close to Hattiesburg?

Furgie would like a sister a playmate. She is lonesome I think. She really loves playing with Rufus, you should see how sse beems. Sadly he is an outside dog and I rarely let him in or her outside. So we are looking at maybe a poodle. We don't know yet which breed. Or maybe a Shih Tzu. They are not as expense as buying a Yorkie. I even thought about a toy Chihuahua. :shurg:

So I guess what I'm asking is what are the pro and cons of owning a poodle? or any suggestions...hey what about the Papillon? anyone have experience with theses?

Or should I get another Yorkie cause that is better for her.[/QUOTE]

i have a poodle and she is a big baby very spoiled . and i have a shih-tzu both are in my avatar my poodle was just a baby then both breeds are very loving dogs you couldnt go wrong with either one.

I LOVE the red poodles. Cassie used to be like Irish Setter Red but since she is 13 years sold she has significantly faded over the years.

Ronda I like Cassies color. That is just what I want. I went to a breeders yesterday....and they had a little male a little bit darker than Cassie.

I have a white toy poodle, Tinker. She will be 4 years old in May. She is a very healthy active dog and she loves everybody. She has never had any health problems at all. You can't go wrong with a poodle.

I almost bought my sister a cafe au lait poodle, but was for sure that she loved reds, so i got her a red poodle!but I love the cafe au lait ones! Poodles are sweet little dogs- and are very smart, and easy to train! I imagine in time they will get along fine!

Hello All! We are at this time not going to get another anything...hubby has had knee surgery and we are just waiting till all things smooth out. Lack of a pay check can really put a strain on ya plans!

But thanks kindly for all the replies..

However Furgie is doing great since her spay!! She is really starting to play again. But never will I have an older pups dew claws removed!! That was a lot bigger than I though it was going to be...but they are healing finally!
