				   | I have a chihuahua she turned 6 1/31 and we recently added a toy poodle in November. The chi was our first and she wishes she was the only one still, she would rather all the dogs leave her alone, but I love her to pieces. She just needs her own space. The poodle is a ball of energy now and super sweet. The chi has hardly any maintanence, bath and a little brush every couple weeks. The poodle requires clipping(I do it every couple of weeks myself), bathing and drying and ear plucking. I would probably suggest the poodle, although my yorkie gets along with the chi and poodle. I think it just depends on your dog as to which would get along better, I think a chi would do better if it isn't the first dog and you introduce it to other dogs as a puppy. My chi was an only dog for about 2 years, so not use to other dogs much at all until we brought a pom then a yorkie then a poodle. Godd luck in your search and decision.

				   | We had a toy poodle growing up. Very smart, no shedding. They do require grooming about every 6-8 weeks. I also have a Mini Schnauzer. She is Sooooo smart and loving and loyal. Shcnauzers dont shed either, but would get bigger than a poodle. I can't say enough good things about Mini Schnauzers, but the toy poodle would prob. be more gentle to play with a Yorkie.

				   | Correct Missy...the breeder called it cafe au lait. But her coloring has changed...as of today haha I cut all the brown fur off. Now she looks like what we use to call Champagne. |

				   | Yes, he is a blue merle pom. He came with papers(some papers don't prove they are pure bred I guess), but I really think somewhere down in his breeding he is mixed with something, he weighs 13lbs., big for a pom. We love him just the same though, pom or not. I would love to see another picture of your poodle, I just love that coloring.
