| Sorry to hear Maya had her first siezure. Hopefully it will be the only one. I can only imagine how frightening that must have been for you and your daughter. Hopefully whatever caused it passed and she will be ok. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Maya update I just got back from the specialist treating Maya and she did bloodwork and an ultrasound of her liver and feels the seizure was not from her liver disease. She said the disease is progressing but not to the point of seizures. She said it could be a clot (TIA) and may not happen again or may. She does not want to do any further tests as she would have to be put under and she arrested the last time she was put under for her liver biopsy. So she said to take a watchful waiting approach and see how she does. Thanks for all the prayers. Maya is still out of sorts but the vet said it can take 48 hours for the affects of the seaizure to subside since she had such a major one. Then she called her the miracle dog!!

| Oh Patti I am so sorry about Maya. Snoot has now had two seizures that were very mild. Both were under a minute but seemed like forever. My vet said with his age now this can be common but that doesn't make me feel any better. He's always been so healthy and besides the seizures he has never had any other issues with anything. I only hope and pray they never happen again. Sending prayers out for Maya and hugs to you both.

| Patti...I've been thinking about you and Maya all day...and then have seen a Canon camera commercial with a little dog that looks like Maya, only lighter coloring than Maya. I will keep praying that she has no more seizures. Poor little sweetie...she's had such a struggle lately. Hugs to you...I hope you sleep well tonight!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Thanks for the info. Maya is still acting very strange. Almost Zombie like, seems to not understand about going outside and eating. Barely lays down just sits and stares blankly. The vet said she may have some effects from it for up to 48 hours since it was such a big seizure. That scream is horrible and we thought she was dying and then she started moving again. The vet said the scream is an aura?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Thanks she is about 80 % back to normal. I am so relieved. Except as I type this she just threw up! darn. Maybe because she wasn't eating for a couple of days and started back last night eating.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Maya is doing better after her seizure, but continues to have good days and some not so good days. On her not so good days, she doesn't want to eat, which is so not like her and on her good days she is happy and more energetic. Thanks for asking!
