:D:D It'd been a tough week. I lost a good friend to breast cancer Monday and I miss her so much. It's a comfort that she was loved by many. |

Your welcome just don't make a habit of leaving....:rollingey |
As long as I'm able and they keep the thread open, I'll be around. :D So I told you about Tink tearing her ACL and then tearing out the door and down the street a couple of weeks ago. Well, yesterday my daughter came over with the baby and as they were leaving, she forgot to close the baby gate and yep - you guessed it! Tinkerbelle took off like a banshee up the street. It's no good chasing her cause you know how fast they are. I just had to wait for her to come back. I stood in the middle of our little street calling her and praying a car wouldn't hit her. Eventually my daughter coaxed her to run back my way so I went up onto the porch and called her and as she ran up the stairs, I opened the front door and closed it behind her. Whew! The whole episode lasted about 10 minutes. Little BRAT! I thought she'd be limping badly but she's not. I don't get it cause some days she holds that leg up and after all that running, she wasn't even limping. And she's all crazy this morning running the zoomies around the living room. I don't know about this little girl. She's just a little rascal!! |
Tink is a little dollbaby i love her dress & bow :) |
Tink be a good girl and listen to your mom, she really does know best. No more running away, hear me? Winston wouldn't run if he had the chance...he gets scared and just lays down and waits for me to rescue him. |
1 Attachment(s) I love to dress Tink in her little dresses. The neighbors all think I'm slightly bonkers. :D That's OK, maybe I am. LOL I wish Tink would be more like Winston and stay put but NOOOOOO! Now this morning she laying beside me chewing on her foot. Wonder what's going on with that? Stewart is touring the house as he does every morning. It's kind of like he's taking an inventory to be sure everything from last night is still there. Silly old man. Here's Tink pic. The ones of Stuart are too big I'll need to resize them. |
I love Tink she is such a prissy little thing in her dresses :) |
Aw, thanks Betty! She is a prissy little thing when she's dressed. If I take her clothes off she acts completely different. Interesting... Stuart just finished his morning tour and is now licking Tink's tummy. Oh! Now they're gonna play - it's a rare occurrence!! |
She is so cute in her dresses |
Merry Christmas little big thread!:xmastree::candyc1: I'm so thankful for the gift of a savior. My little grandson's first Christmas today. He fell asleep before we opened presents after church Christmas Eve. So we'll help him open his gifts from us later today. Not that he'll even know what's going on but it's fun for us. I like giving Christmas gifts in honor of the One who gave the best gift of all. :) |

Each of our grandkids gets 1 gift from us and we spend the rest of the day eating, visiting and enjoying each other's company...that's what it's about for me. I love to cook & bake and I love to share that with my family and friends. Unfortunately, this year, I made several new recipes for Thanksgiving and Christmas so I now have some new favorites...fattening new favorites I should say...and I don't need anymore of those! lol! |
Merry Christmas to all. I am hating the whole present thing more and more. I miss the family time |
1 Attachment(s) Well, something I ate Christmas Eve didn't set well with me so I've been sick since. Didn't get to watch Caleb open his presents (with mom's help of course). :( Today I should be back at work but I can't concentrate very well. No one else is in the office today anyway - they're all on vacation this week. So, I'm resting and having a cup of tea. I LOVE tea. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and good times with your family. Tink sends a nose lick to all her friends! |

Hopefully they took a phone video or lots of pictures to share with you. Enjoy your tea and give Tink a squeeze from us! |
I am hoping that you feel better soon |
I hope you are feeling better. Tink looks so cute |
OK, it was bad. I just had food poisoning last month. Didn't expect it again. But today I'm starting to feel pretty normal. I haven't seen my daughter or grandson since Christmas eve so I don't know if they took pics. Can't imagine they didn't. Maybe I'll get to see them tomorrow.:) I miss that little friend. He is such a good and happy baby. Sarah is blessed! Well thread, Happy New Year. We've made it one more without killing you. ;) You bring me good memories of fun times and friendships made. Thanks YorkieTalk for this forum, weird and jumbled that it is. It served me well. |

Happy New Years |
wishing everyone the best |
Do do do do |
2 Attachment(s) Hi everyone. Hello little big thread. I'm healthy, Tink is healthy, Stuart is very sick. I don't think he will make it through this year. Poor little fella was not taken care of by his original owner. I think they loved him because he has no fear of people and will let anyone pet him but clearly they did not understand that he needed health care. I'm trying to help him have a better life now but the damage is done and some of it can't be repaired. I've worked with our vets over the year and he is so much happier and healthier but his heart has been damaged and he has constant infections from the holes in his mouth that won't heal where rotten teeth fell out. I'm at the place now where I have to decide how much more money I can spend on him and still take good care of Tinkerbelle who has her own health issues from being a puppy mill rescue. I've had Tink since she was 8 weeks old and we've been through a lot together. I've had Stuart for 10 months. So guess I just needed to get that out so I can see it and think about it and pray about it. I'd appreciate any info, support or prayers you want to send our way. |
Susie, have you tried Coconut Oil for Stuart? I've heard and read that it has some wonderful healing properties and it fights bacteria...it's a natural antibiotic. Maybe you could ad some to his diet and see if it helps... You are both in my thoughts and prayers... |
Wishing the best for your pups |

He\'s in good spirits today though. He wants to play with the beaver squeeky toy and sit next to me. Bless his little heart. I\'ll call the vet in the morning. Time for a discussion. |
Well, if he\'s not keeping anything down I don\'t know if adding an oil would help or hurt. There are several members on here who use coconut oil...maybe you could start a new thread and see if someone else can help. What does he eat? |
