Well It's a new day... I'm waiting for my apartment manager to call me and let me know if she has heard anything from the floor people about coming today. and the poster that said they could have at least got started ... yes i agree. me and mom both said the same thing.. cause they could have at least moved the lightweight furniture out and did those areas to at least get started. well cross your fingers that they get started today.

i'll post when i hear word. hope everyone has a wonderful day! :)

Oh drat! I have to leave in an hour and I'm not dressed or anything and I haven't fed the dogs. :( I hate it when life gets in the way of my computer time.:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Yep! I have endless laundry instead of the 2 loads a week I used to have! It takes a minimum of an hour to get ready to leave the house without notice! In the time it takes to put Amelia's coat on, fasten her in her car seat and fasten the seat in the car I used to be able to jump in the car, drive to the shop, get what I want and come back home again! I can't eat a full meal without having her wanting me for something! I don't get to sleep for hours on end like I could before and I can't go to bed when I feel tired anymore either!

BUT... I wouldn't change it! :D

I've just stopped packing some of clothes so I could have some lunch and now it's time to start again! :( Some help would be great... any offers?

;) Aw, I missed everyone again!:(

I had a very busy day. Office all day of course, and then a meeting at 6pm and another at 7 pm and then final rehearsal at 8 pm for a worship seminar I'm part of this weekend. I don't know if I'll be able to post til Sunday afternoon 'cause I won't be home much except to snuggle Tink now and then and potty her. But I am really looking forward to Fri night and Saturday morn and afternoon. It will be wonderful and I love singing with my worhip team.:) :thumbup:

Amy 81, what happened with your flooring today? Did they get it laid or at least mostly done?

Vicky, Amelia loves you soooo much!:) :D

Mandee, what did you cook for dinner? I'm hungry but it's too late to cook anything. I think I'll make do with a piece of toast and some cereal!;)

Nope I called the manager a little after 9 and she said she hadn't heard from then and wasn't counting on them so i called them myself and first he told me the installer was in the office he would talk to him to see if they had a crew and would call me back.. so 2 hrs go by i call them back and they said he would call back at 2 pm.... so never heard a word. im going to call here in a bit to see what the game plan is. grrrrrr

i got to go in an hour to pay my bills... fun fun fun

Well I called the floor ppl this morning. they sent an installer out to look and see what needs to be done. and he is coming back .. he should be here in a few minutes. (12 pm) !!!!!!!!!!!

and after he left. i went and got my bills paid... and just paid the others online. i had to mail my rent increase verification to dept of children and families. i called to report a change and they said i would have to mail it in.


so how is everyone elses day going???

Floor Update
 
They got here at 12:16 and started taking carpet up... i put cody in his pet taxi and left him at my neighbors. and he was a good boy for mommy!!! so when i got back they had the carpet up in the diningroom, hallway, moms room and half of the carpet up in my room. they got some some of the lineoleum up in the kitchen. so their working pretty fast... but the guy showed me stains on the cement and they said they would have to recement and they talked to the manager and maintenance man and they said they could just do a float floor. like put a sealer down??? so i guess they will do that and start laying some of the new VCT tile today? but OMG im gonna need soooooo much tylenol... the noise their making is awful.
i may take cody out for a walk LOL

Do any of you guys get to the point when the things you're facing make everything else seem insignificant? I'm there now.

I read stuff here and I am having a really hard time relating to anything. I have a somach ache from anxiety and hopelessness. It's not even the health issues - those don't even seem to matter right now either.

I see no hope or help and don't know what to do.

I don't even remember why I'm posting this. Maybe cause I won't be posting much for a day or two or three.....I am just not handling things very well - I don't know how, I guess.

Teri, Take care of yourself lady! Yes, I think we all have times in our life that are all confused and not at all what we want them to be.

Grab a friend and talk her head off. Get it out and let someone help you deal with it. There are people on here who care about you and will be a sounding board for you.

I know life can be a real pickle barrel and sometimes we would like to pull the covers over our heads and forget about it all. But that's not the plan. We need your dry whit here! I need someone to tease! We need doggie pics! We need you to keep the Okra thread movin' along. We need YOU dear!:thumbup: :)

good evening :) I have had quite the day myself...but mostly good :) it was beautiful outside. dh and I took the dogs out for a nice, long walk and it was sooooooooooooooooo peaceful. we really should do that more often :) the dogs LOVED it :D

we just wasted 2 hours of our lives watching a movie that was soooooooo slow and boring. we are about to watch another one...let's hope it is better than the last one :D

just wanted to pop in and say hi :) see you all tomorrow :D

I made pork chops, roasted potatoes, and baked beans. i only ate the potatoes and a few beans...didn't like the chops :( dh and my daughter really liked them, but me and the baby had a different feeling on it LOL

so I woke up this morning STARVING. I made some pancakes and was very happy with that :) yummmmmmy :D

Well the floors are officially done!! YAY!!! they finished at 7pm last night. i went to walmart today to get swiffer wetjet solution and pads... and i used 2 pads already mopping. they were dirty too when i threw them away they were GRAY.. it was gross. when i unpack the boxes and get to my camera i'll take pics.

just checking in. Trying to get some house work done today. it is so beautiful out..I am having a very hard time staying inside long enough to get anything done LOL

I figure that cleaning my car is as important as cleaning my house...right??? :D :D

Oh Mandeeeee.....come clean my car when you're done OK?

My car is plain ole disgusting with all the sand and salt in it and the back of my seats and the door are all scuffed with dirt from my walker! Ugh! If it would just get and stay warm for a whole weekend I could get it cleaned. Better thought - I think I need to take it to the Octapus or Mermaid carwash and let them do it for $25.00. Then it's done and I'm not all sore! Hey I'm smart after all.

that's what I usually do. but i have a ton of stuff in my car now, I need to at least get that cleaned out. I love taking it to the car wash and letting them do all the work LOL

Well I got everything unboxed and put back in its place this afternoon. then i went to pick my mom up from my sister's house. i took me something to help with the pain.. i'll take pictures tomorrow !!

Hi little big thread. No one is here feeding you. Same old story huh? I'm sooooo sorry. I suppose I could feed you like I did in the olden days huh? But things were different then. It's a different world we live in now thread. I don't know if you can understand that. Sometimes I don't understand it myself. But I try. Tink sends her love and pictures to keep you warm tonight.
