Is she laid back like I have read about Maltese's? (I almost typed Morkie's

Well sometimes a cross between a yorkie and a maltese is called a Morkie or yorktese.........since I have a Yorkie and a Maltese, well I couldn't very well show partiality so came up with Morkie to keep both kids happy. Of course the 4 is Hubby, me, Toby and Kallie make four! I'm so clever!!!!

A Yorkie is a whole different creature than a maltese!!! Yorkie's are wonderful little furbutts and I love my Toby to death. But the maltese has a sweeter demeanor 100% of the time.........Toby has his moments of sweetness.

Okay they are adorable dogs, but if you keep them in long hair it is more work than keeping a yorkie in long hair!!!

I love the maltese breed, my favorite!!!

So, ALL Maltese's are as sweet as yours? Do your dogs get along or just ignore each other? Does she have any health problems? I think Maltese puppies are about the cutest things alive!

Yep, you sound rather biased!

I've heard their hair is more fragile or soft and you have to be careful with it. True?

Didn't you see the posts of the video of them playing together???? I am sure I posted it here!!! Oh they play together a lot but I have to Keep reminding Toby he is too rough and he stops but Kallie is just so sweet and plays so gentle. Her hair is soft as can be. Kallie is a petshop dog that we got when she was two from an individual who didn't know better than to buy from a petstore. She does have the Luxating Patella grade 2 but she is not having any problems what so ever. Only goes to the vet in the last three yrs for checkups and one eye infection.

Do you use the same kind of brush on her as Toby or does she need something different?

I give equal care to both the kids. I always brush with a light spray of conditioner. And if you brush DAILY, and I mean like your life depended on it, it is not that big a deal to keep them long. But if you don't do it daily, it is a bear to keep!!! Hard on them and on you!
