Bummer. Years ago I read a Dave Barry piece about leaving the dogs in the house. It was so funny it had me in tears. Anyway, I KNOW there was a part where he told them not to go on the expensive new oriental rug. When he left they remembered he said something about the rug...

Anyway, you get the idea. I tried to google it, thought you could use the humour, but can't find it.
