Emma is a sweetie pie and did a great job on the ride home. It was fun meeting Jill and her hubby and seeing some of her wonderful dogs and PUPPIES. I got to smell a puppy!!!

I was so glad to get home today at about 4:30 a.m. When I looked in the mirror I was shocked at how I looked. I was SO pale and my eyes were puffy... I didn't even look like me. (maybe that's a good thing???) I was totally wiped out, but we accomplished the mission! Yippee!

Glad you went and got home safely. So Emma is a sweetie huh? LOL But of course she is - did you expect anything else? No, I didn't hear you hollering at me when you drove past. I was thinking of you though. When are you going to give Emma to the lady?

I'll pray for you - I live everyday with that fear. I just learned yesterday that we will have mandatory furloughs again in the second quarter - which means a week without pay - I am taking my furlough for the 1st quarter, the last full week of this mth. I am single & a week without pay is so hard -- this economy is just the pits

Oh jeepers, I missed this when you posted it Kathy! I'm so sorry you lost your job. I know you weren't happy there, but a job is still a job. I hope you'll find something soon that will be good for you. I'll put your name on my prayer board. Keep us updated.

I am trying to update my resume...it's hard to sell yourself without sounding smug or conceited. I am doing okay...love the time off...my house has never been so clean. LOL!!! But like you said a job is a job...I'm going to look at it as a blessing in disguise though. Hoping better things will come my way...with fingers crossed...and saying a prayer!!!

Kathy something will come along..........and a good idea is to let someone that will be knows you and you trust "read" your resume before turning it in to a perspective employer. They may think of some more nice things to say or add..........hey, if you have a good resume, you got it!!!!!! You won't sound conceited, you will sound confident and qualified.

Thanks for your vote of confidence...I'll take it to heart. Another thing is really enjoying the time off is difficult...because finding another job is ALWAYS on my mind. I'd love to put off sending in resumes...and just look at this as a vacation, but I'm afraid I'll miss out on a great opportunity. While drawing unemployment you are not suppose to turn down a job offer...so...back to that dang resume. I'm thinking it's not looking bad...and hubby agrees...haven't had anyone else look it over yet. Okay, the search is on!!!

Well, I hope you get the resume done and you are satisfied with it. I haven't worked in so long..........and you do get use to it. Having everything your way and no "boss." LOL

So you go girl and get that perfect job that is just waiting for you!
