I don't think this is a new video, it was about how they are with their mothers,and in the pack, and how you should continue that... Teaching you to teach your dog... I think is what its called.. what is the new one called? How many does he have? I need them ALL!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!!!
There, did that wake you up? I'm in for the 4 day work week. Although I work from home 2, so that would make it a 2 day work week. Even better. Went out with sister last night, come home, hubby tells me my tire is flat! He pumped it up, but just in case, I arranged a ride for Meg to school with someone else. I'm so smart and proactive! Get up this morning, tire is flat. No biggie, I'm home, right? Son missed the bus! (He goes to high school which is 2 towns over). So, he is home with me. I'm putting him to work cleaning. I'm sitting here eating graham crackers. Tucker is driving me nuts. He comes over, and he has to sit for a treat. So he sits. I ignore. He moves closer. Sits. I ignore. suddenly, his little paw comes up on my leg. I look down. He scoots right next to me and looks up "I'm SITTING, where is my treat" Very cute! He got his graham cracker.

Not really sure, Last week he was on a show, and they said his ne Video would be out on Tuesday.

I'm going to pick it up, if I can find it.

I'll go to his website and see how many he has out, I'm sure there's a list.

I saw an article in the New Yorker magazine that said the vet society has denounced Cesar Milan. It said he has set dog training back 20 years! Qouted some other expert who said the whole "you are the leader of the pack" thing is ridiculous, your dog knows you are a human, etc, etc. I say, if it works why mock it???? Besides I like being the boss of somebody, my kids ignore what I tell them to do.

flat tire, hmmmmm hope you don't need to go to the store.
You know if Tucker sat that long, and you knew he was there,
I think you should give him two treats!

You can always send him to me, I won't ignore him.

Foot is going to be fine,
Can't wear my shoe, but I did stay off of it all week

Teri~ I heard that also, but after watching his video People Training for Dogs, (that's it Gina, I was just on his site) it does make sense.. so far so good, whatever works, Bailey's problem is he is dominate,, never submissive,, he will never be on his back, I think in the 2 years I have seen him do it twice, to another male yorkie 3.5 pounds, but he's mean,and Bailey knows it.. He " usually" knows I'm the boss, except when I Need him to..ya know..
Cesar,, stresses WALKING your dog,, he says that nonstop, for exercise and to let him know you are the pack leader, don't let them walk out in front of you, either beside or behind, I did that last night,and I'm telling you, last night he had a whole new attitude.

It was crazy. Came to me, didn't run, if I went to touch him, he's always, on his terms, if HE want's to be held, or picked up, or if you have food. Never when you want him...

Teri, Bailey does that too, it's so funny, when he REALLY want something he'll sit, then go down, and then spin around,, like " Look at me I'm giving you my entire reprituar" (sp) I love it!

I heard Cesar is really good. he had 8 shows back to back last week.
I have them on the DVR, now all I have to do is watch them.

I don't have a problem with them knowing I'm the pack leader, but Mandy
jumps all ove everyone, just for love, but she's too big for that and needs to stop. She has this thing about shoes too, don't know what it is, but she's always after everyones feet. Poncho and Princess do great, they both know when I say something, they better hear it.

Ramsey knows the command come....and before she realized YOU don't have to COME if you don't want to....came very well. She thinks come means treats. She still refuses to do bang....she thinks it's stupid.
