Years ago, I planted a Peach tree. Yep, I did!
It's been sticks with a few leaves but that's about it.
This year it has a 100 flowers on it, nope, haven't touched it.
Our son said he gave it a trim, and what do you know,
it flowered.:D :D :D

Not me, I had to take lunch money to my son, so I'm broke. At the Jr high if you forget your money they let you eat and send an IOU home. At the high school, you are SOL, not to mention hungry. What a stupid thing!

Out here our kids get lunch credit cards. They have to feed them, money

We have lunch debit cards in the grammer school. JR & HS not IOU's starve.

Yes, lilac thief....prune yours now.

Good job, Gina...fruit trees need pruning so ya get fruit. Btw, my lime tree is loaded with limes. Anyone got any corona?

At our schools....no money means they give ya a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...nothing else. One step up from bread and water. No charging lunches. If you want to "charge" it...you have to send in the money and they deduct the amount from your account. I suspect they had trouble collecting those IOU's.

I like your lunch box! Today's lunch boxes are so boring. Remember how exciting it was to pick out your new lunch box each Sept.? And, for me anyway, by October I had dropped the thermos and it was broken. That's why those retro ones are worth so much money, they still have the thermos!
I had a Barbie one, a Bewitched one, and Chip and Dale. Those are the only ones I remember.

I had a Charlie Brown one. It was plastic though. They stopped making the tin ones. Too bad, because they are way more aesthetically pleasing :)

If we only knew to save all that stuff we'd be millionairs. My brother had so many baseball cards. Yep through them out.

It's in a box somewhere, I have the doll too.
I ended up getting two of the same things
so they were just packed away for a rainy day.
I guess it didn't rain much, because it's still boxed up.
