Good Morning all!!! Rhonda!!!! RELAX!!!!!!!!! I love Santa!!!!! :D :D :D :D |
I still give our kids easter baskets, valentines and santa gifts and they are all over 25 and they love it. it just gets harder to think of what to give them that isn't expensive- their tastes aren't quite the same anymore. |

I HATE peeps....bunnies or the chick ones. My mother bought them every year....I think it was for the color...we'd dutifully open them, take one bite, nope still hate 'em....throw them away two weeks after Easter. We never ate the eggs we colored either....those went to the hunting dogs...thank God we had those :D And no fair, once I moved outta the house....noone came...not Santa, the Easter Bunny, nor the tooth fairy. I've been robbed  It only dawned on me how close Easter was last week  I have NOT bought any Easter basket fixin's....NONE. I am usually way better prepared than this....Dd's basket is not having any fancy "theme" this year  She and dh are camping til Saturday...so I have to get out there and buy something. She purposedly stated they are coming home early, 'cause the Easter Bunny's coming ;) |

If I get Tucker an easter basket and my husband has me committed would you guys help bust me out? I've almost put him over the edge with the birthday party! You know, if I had known those infertility treatments were really going to work, I would have planned things better. My son was born at Christmas time and Megan was born at Easter. So, it's present overload and then nothing for the rest of the year. Since I'm gone Wed and Thurs and have to go to a Wedding on Sat, I guess I'd better get my butt to the store. What to buy, what to buy..... |

Another suggestion...we used to have a neighborhood egg hunt...essentially in a huge uncut field. Do NOT hide small chocolate eggs in a field the AM of the hunt. They squish when the kids finally come along to find them ;) |
OK it is time for lunch...I'm off to Target to see what the Easter Bunny left there! :Pawprint: |
Speaking of those Peeps,, my Mom LOVES those, but she has to poke a hole in the paper, and let them sit for a week or longer ( longer the better) till they get hard,, she loves em! EWWW! I have always hated em, and she always bought em for me, yeah for HER! Wondered why they were always open when I got em,, ripening! And Deb~ Oh If I thought for one second I could push that damn clutch in in my car I'd be down at that Book Store getting you your Easter present and it would be in the mail! Damn! Maybe I'll send Sarge, yeah, that'll happen. |
