What a nice way to describe your possible daughter in law. Btw, give her a heads up...don't refrigerate the ketchup. Almost....almost got a new bike today. Someone has left a beach cruiser here...complete with Ramsey basket. I was gonna take it home....put it in the warehouse....big bro had a mini cow and told me....some kid is looking for THAT bike....you're just as bad as the person who left it HERE. Then he said if I needed one that bad....take a company check and go to Target....I might do that...but I ain't buying no bike with it, I'll tell ya that ;) |

4 Attachment(s) LOL This e-mail just came in: I've seen two shows lately that went on and on about how mid-life is a great time for women. Just last week Oprah had a whole show on how great menopause will be... Puhleeeeeeeze! I've had a few thoughts of my own and would like to share them with you. Whether you are pushing 40, 50, 60 (or maybe even just pushing your luck) you'll probably relate. Mid-life is when the growth of hair on our legs slows down. This gives us plenty of time to care for our newly acquired mustache. In mid-life women no longer have upper arms, we have wing spans. We are no longer women in sleeveless shirts, we are flying squirrels in drag. Mid-life is when you can stand naked in front of a mirror and you can see your rear without turning around. Mid-life is when you go for a mammogram and you realize that this is the only time someone will ask you to appear topless. Mid-life is when you want to grab every firm young lovely in a tube top and scream, "Listen honey, even the Roman empire fell and those will too." Mid-life brings wisdom to know that life throws us curves and we're sitting on our biggest ones. Mid-life is when you look at your-know-it-all, beeper-wearing teenager and think: "For this I have stretch marks?" In mid-life your memory starts to go. In fact the only thing we can retain is water. Mid-life means that your Body By Jake now includes Legs By Rand McNally -- more red and blue lines than an accurately scaled map of Wisconsin. Mid-life means that you become more reflective...You start pondering the "big" questions. What is life? Why am I here? How much Healthy choice ice cream can I eat before it's no longer a healthy choice? But mid-life also brings with it an appreciation for what is important. We realize that breasts sag, hips expand and chins double, but our loved ones make the journey worthwhile. Would any of you trade the knowledge that you have now, for the body you had way back when? Maybe our bodies simply have to expand to hold all the wisdom and love we've acquired. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it! |
Good Morning! It's Friday.. YEAH!!:D and not raining.. suppose to maybe get a break and no rain tomorrow... I NEED TO MOW! Or bail, might be a better word.. Opps sorry that wasn't all suppose to be in BOLD.. new set-up.. still gets me. SO GOOD Morning.. How is everyone Today  |

1 Attachment(s) Just got this e-mail this morning. Should fit in with yesterdays planting topic.:D :D :D CLASS PROJECT GONE WRONG An elementary school class started a class project to make planters to take home to their parents. They wanted to have a plant in it that was easy to take care of, so they decided to use cactus plants. The students were given green-ware pottery planters in the shape of clowns which they painted with glaze. The clown planters were professionally fired at a class outing so they could see the process. It was great fun! They planted cactus seeds in the finished planters and they grew nicely, but unfortunately, the children were not allowed to take them home. The cactus plants were removed and small ivy replaced them and the children were then allowed to take them home instead. The teacher said cactus seemed like a good idea at the time! look at the picture below. |
Good Morning Ladies. How goes all. It's Friday :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: Thanks Rhonda, it's pouring here. :umbrella:  Gina that was great..:eyeballpc :sidesplt: :sidesplt: :sidesplt: |
3 Attachment(s) Mornin' all you chicks....friday morning. :2party: Gina, we have one of those planters here at the office. :) Speaking of plant pictures....took pictures of my favorite plant/flower in my flowerbeds. They're called bleeding hearts....how cool are they? Love them...they only bloom for about a month though :( Almost had to post hubby on the complaint thread because he insisted on power washing....I told him if you kill my bleeding hearts...you are going to bleed. |

I love bleeding hearts. I haven't had much success with them in my garden though. |

That plant is sooooo cool. I had one, have no idea what happened to it. But it was soooo me! O have hearts all over my house.:) :) :) |

That plant is really cool. I think mine was a hanging plant on the patio. They don\'t last very long around here. By the end of Summer most of the hanging plants are brown and dry, So off to the trash can they go.    |

Rhonda just want to thank you again for the lovely sucky rainy day. Now it\'s thundering. |
I kill anything I try to grow. Hubby has forbidden me to even smell his rose bushes! It\'s a dark, icky day. My dark, icky boss is in the office today. That should cut down on my YT time :( |
Quote:
That\'s why I have silk flowers out by the pool!!!:p :p :p :p :p |

Nah, you didn\'t have bleeding hearts in a hanging plant. It\'s a bush. I know what you\'re thinking of though....can\'t remember the name, but I\'ve had those too. The color of the flowers is similar but one is pink/white and the other pink/purple...the flowers are more ball shaped. These really look like hearts. Planting tip of the day....bleeding hearts must be planted in partial shade or indirect sun. Speaking of which....local weather forecast today :sun: with highs in the upper 70\'s. |
Well I\'ll have to find that bush! Hmmmmmm A good reason to shop! Thanks Deb!!!:p :p :p :p :p |
Good Morning and Happy Friday everyone! Is cloudy and raining on and off here in NYC. I hope everyone is having a good day. I love that plant, very nice. The cactus story was hilarious, :D . We don\'t have plants at my house, they always die. :( Have a great day everyone. :ghug: |

Right now it\'s overcast and kinda gloomy, so I\'m sure it will be back, and a whopping 44 degrees! NICE OUT!? |
