Not sure I am in the right thread for this answer but as you have asked I will answer.

I am not cooking a thing that is not my job and if I made an attempt to cook my lovely lady would bounce me out of the kitchen.

I know she is going to do Trout boiled potatoes and green veg.
This will be followed with Sticky Toffee Pudding and white sauce.
The we will have the coffee with cheese and biscuits (English ones)
The above will be served with a good quality wine.

If anyone is a winner,...she is.

Once again we see a difference in US English and English English. I bet you have this in USA but under a different name and this is what makes this forum so interesting as we can learn so much.

Sticky Toffee Pudding is a steam pudding with a melted toffee all over it always served hot in UK.
It can be served just as you see it in the picture or with a sauce or custard (yellow or white)

Whatever you do, do not make too much of it as there is no way on earth you can eat only a portion.

OMG, that looks so good ... I have not seen that here, but it looks similar to a chocolate lava cake (only in a lava cake there is no topping, the "sauce" is inside, and it is chocloate, not toffee)

Yes we have that here. I understand it is not an easy thing to make but if done well it looks as good as it will taste.
