Once again we see a difference in US English and English English. I bet you have this in USA but under a different name and this is what makes this forum so interesting as we can learn so much.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is a steam pudding with a melted toffee all over it always served hot in UK.
It can be served just as you see it in the picture or with a sauce or custard (yellow or white)
Whatever you do, do not make too much of it as there is no way on earth you can eat only a portion.
