Wow is right I still have a foot of snow in the yard lol. I am LOVING these temps. Ride to the lake sounds amazing.:) |
We might have gotten a little over 2 inches of snow total |
It's 61 degrees and I got a short horseback ride in. Winning for sure. Glad everyone had a beautiful day. And enjoyed the great outdoors |
Went out riding on the bike. Little chilly this morning but, it warmed up to the mid upper sixties Can't beat that for February |
I think we all are winners today with the weather |

Gotta be at least 80 for that. Forecasting close to 80 several days this week. Looking forward to it! |
I'd open my pool with temps like that |
My daughter went swimming Saturday. She likes cooler temps and will be complaining later on this week. She spent most of her life in a state much further North. I've given up on her ever acclimating to Texas again. |
I always wanted to go south for the winter. Lately, the winters here are mild enough I go out an visit my buddy in San Diego for a week for a break. I was going to Texas this winter but, the wife's gf has had health issues and wasn't a good time to go |
We have a bazillion "Winter Texans" in Hill Country and South Texas. They head back home in April and May depending upon what state they reside in. I'd like to do that myself except I want to escape August and February, the two months I cannot stand. |
I'm expecting next winter to be horrible. In the past after a double El Nino, we've had horrific winters in North Texas. Back in the early 80s, 81 I think, it even snowed in San Antonio. We are considering leasing a condo in South Padre for the winter. If we do, it is guaranteed to be the mildest winter on record. LOL |
I recall Dallas having over 30 some days over 100 degrees I think, I'll stay up here in God's country ;) |
August can be horrible. The last two have been fine, but there are years that I can't stand to go outdoors during that month. |
