| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Certainly I'll never forget the news of my parents' passing, but that's a downer. And my wedding is an obvious. But my most memorable experience was a solo hike when I was 21 in Denali National Park. It was miserable. Pouring rain, windy, and straight up. I got to the top of a hill and there were rocks and no good place to pitch a tent. I spent an hour setting it up, soaked, miserable and depressed, with no alternatives because the buses had stopped running. But once inside the tent, I was safe, secure and warm. I read a book, I just lie there and thought. And listened to the pouring rain and wind while snug in the tent. It taught me that the best things in life have a cost that's worth paying. Sheesh, sorry about the novella, but that's a good question, so I'll repeat. What event in your life is the most memorable?

| good story about the hike up the mountain !! My absolute most memorable was the birth of my son Evan...that truly felt like a modern day miracle....knew there must be some higher form that helped us produce that....hehe !! Other than that, would have to be my wedding day......the feeling right before you walk down the aisle, took my breath away to have ALL the people you know and love right there before your very eyes all in one place and the same time....AWESOME.... What do you do to help calm your significant other down if he/she is upset or if single what do you do to calm yourself down?

| I tell him about all the good things we have - each other, our children, the "girls", a nice house, etc. If you could go anywhere in the world on a moment's notice, where would it be and why?

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | True, around here anyway -- alaskayorkie! But not in real life. Do your parents call you by a nickname instead of your real one?
