| Pictures - Smokey Skies of So. Cal. Fire I thought I'd share pictures I've taken of the skies in Orange County Califoria from the Santiago Fire which is still burning tonight. The picture were taken from my cell phone on the way home going towards the fire. The closest the fire came to our home was about 2 miles. But the smoke has been horrible. Here are some pictures I took with my cell phone. 1st Picture - Tuesday 2nd picture - Wednesday - I tried to take a picture of the same scene as the one before 3rd & 4th picture - Today - We finally got to see a little blue sky! The wind changed direction and is blowing the smoke away from the coast to the inland.

| It's very terrible to have to see so much destruction in so many lives. I feel very awful about all the agony and loss of so many people. I work in torrance and the air and sky there was not good this week. |

| I hear the hospitals are getting a lot of people with breathing problems. I myself have been coughing some and my nose hurts. I'm glad I have central A/C for the girls. If it's this bad for me, can you imagine how much worse it is for our little ones?

| I just saw on the news that the fire is only 35% contained! I thought it was more than that...

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Wow, you've got a nice cell phone! Those pictures are great. What a terrible, terrible disaster. I'm just shocked at the number of people who had to evacuate and the loss of homes, and now the loss of life. Horrible.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | That is so very sad and so much destruction of beautiful land and homes. So glad that you and your family are safe but I can only imagine the air quality must be aweful. Still keeping everyone in our praryers.

| Sending Thoughts and Prayers to all the Wildfire families. Here's a picture from my backyard. The air is full of smoke, it really makes your eyes burn. We were very lucky, we still have our home. My heart goes out to everyone with family and friends dealing with this. My God Bless them all.

| I've been thinking a lot about the people in So Cal dealing with this natural disaster. I hope that you and your family (and your home) remains safe and healthy! I was in Malibu last summer studying at Pepperdine, and when I saw the pictures, it was so surreal, and I've only been there once! I can't even imagine what this is like for you. Hugs and happy thoughts!
