What you can do to, when you get your job, i just did this where i work, i got one big credit card out of the way that was about 400.00 i was paying a month, i have a savings account and i have payroll taking 100.00 per pay out of my check and putting it in my savings account... that's going to help build it back up again, i took to much out of it this year...

Thats the same way I am. I go shopping just to go shopping. So right now Josh and I have set a limit to 25 dollars earch a week to go shopping with. Then the other down fall that I have is eating out, which I want to go do now but I can I have already went over my 10 budget for the week.

oh i miss going out to eat, it's funny we go to the foster house on Sunday's -maybe once a month from 4-8 they have pittsburgh sandwiches there buy one get one free....

It is very hard, and hard to stay motivated. Every time i see something for sale here i just want to buy it lol its hard to fight the urge but you can do it! I hope you get it paid off soon

Yeah but that was part of a 2nd mortgage, a car loan we paid down, a ton of medical debt AND the credit card debt. We aren't big shoppers either - some of it was Christmas presents and going out to dinner but a lot was just poor budgeting and planning. We had ourselves convinced that we would make more money later. My husband has a tendency to spend the same $500 that he thinks is coming 3 times, then it never comes or it comes 3 months later. The hardest part has been convincing him that we can only spend what we make. The next challenge will be convincing him it's worthwhile to SAVE some money.

Hey, I'm in the shoes you were in! I'm so stressed about it too....can you give me any tips and/or advice. I want to get out of debt so bad but, like you said I'm going to school full time and can only work part time. I'm looking into getting a night job too.
