Yorkiekids... i feel for your daughter... i thought Josh would come back too.. even after he got another gf.... give her time... the best thing my parents did for me was let me deal with it my way... even if they didn't agree with how i went about it (moved for the summer!) just be there for her... she'll get to this place eventually

lol you are so right! i was crying this afternoon and layla licked away my tears.. i realized then i didn't need anything other than her love.

It's such a final feeling when you get rid of everything, isn't it? But it also shows that you're ready to spread your wings and get on with your life.

It's OK to grieve today and get it all out of your system. Tomorrow is another day and somewhere out there is a guy who will love you and appreciate the wonderful young woman you are.

When he comes your way, you'll look back and wonder who that guy was that you thought was the "one".

You grow with every tear you shed and become stronger. I wish you luck and much happiness - you definitely deserve it!

thanks so much you guys.. i knew i could count on you all... i didn't want to tell my parents because i'm sure they thought i shoudl ahve gotten rid of that stuff months ago... and i dind't want to call someone and tell them because then i'd cry.. but it is so nice to have a second family on here for support

oh marci .. i am so sorry you're going through .. i am too actually, so i can really empathsize with you and say i know how you feel. take your time with your feelings, don't fight them. if you do you just hurt more. just let it all out and take it day by day. and if you ever need to talk more just let me know ... we can both cry over our break-ups. lol
