| I think some people are just allergic to something in red ink...I have also heard of people allergic to other colors as well...and when introduced into the skin, the body sees it as a foreign object, much like a splinter and tries to reject it...like mine is doing now. I can tell you it is very painful...I read online where it can take up to two years for the body to reject all the red...I can't imagine my foot like this for two years! I can't get a shoe on it at all...nothing can touch it without it hurting really bad!: eek: I am wearing flip flops all the time and it is still a bit chilly outside!

I got a small flower on my big toe, which hurt like the dickens, and I hated it; just looking at it would make me physically sick so I decided to have it removed. I've had two removal treatments & it's almost completely gone. And if you think the tattooing hurt multiply that by like 100 & you're close to the pain of the laser. I also have a small heart with tribal on my lower back that i love & a soft pastel butterfly on my shoulder.

| Update!!! My foot healed perfectly!!! It has one tiny scar but it is all still bright red so none of the ink came out. We have decided that the artist was just heavy handed and went WAY deeper than he should have...also may have had an allergic reaction to Neosporin as well. I love my ladybug!!!
