No. Its a Suburu B9 Tribeca. Book price for those are 34,000 some where around there. But they are having 2000 rebate on them now, which doesn't really matter since I won't be getting it until next year. I do now that carmax sells them for 24000-26000. So I plan on getting a used, IF they have one that I want in stock. Suburu isn't a popular brand, so carmx doesn't have any right now that are 5 passangers in stock. They came out in 2006 if I am correct.

That would be great. Don't forget college you can always go to a junior college in your home town and you will never regret it. They can steal your money, the car can wear out, you can etc etc but no one can ever take your education away. Just a random thought

I am thinking about college I have a lot of credits. But since I have been going to school for almost 2 yrs straight with no breaks, I think I am taking my break now!

Don't do it!! You will end up LOVING the $$ of a full time job and the years will slide by and then you'll be too financially dependant on your money that you won't be able to afford college and you won't end up doing it OR it will take you 10+ years to get it done!! Trust me on that!

Girl, you have many many years ahead of you to buy a fancy, expensive car, trust me! Finish COLLEGE now! Don't break! Its the ABSOLUTE BEST ADVICE I can give you! I am 31 and STILL 'trying' to get my degree! Don't make yourself have more financial responsibilities than you need to take on! You are young! Plenty of time to buy anything you want, when you get your degree and make twice as much and then you can just pay for it cash!

Please think about it!

Not sure why it didnt post... but I had posted yesterday that I know someone who fixes credit... and I mean REALLY fixes credit. He can get you an 800 beacon score. It's all totally legit and TOTTALY LEGAL! If you're interested... let me know!

I agree! Some ppl never go back to college after taking a break.

Well Id have to say then, LISTEN to them! 4 years for college is not that long! I wish I could help you see it! I have said this before, to others. I am on the brink of the 'instant gratification generation'! That IS our generation that thinks that when they want something they need to get it now or close to now. When I was 23 I wanted a new car, so I traded in my 'old' car (it was not paid off and only 3 years old) for the SAME car only 3 years newer! Now I can only try to help & advice younger people (like you) not to do it!!!

You seem smart girl, young, but smart! Get your degree, drive you crappy car until it falls apart, get a job making killer money after you get your degree, THEN see what your priorities are! I am driving the same car I bought new at 23 bc having a really nice $200,000 townhouse was more important than having a new car! It was no contest!

Plus, instead of making car payments while you have a car, use the money to pay the student loans, because, as I sit here at 31 having had 3 years of college back when I was 18-21 I still have $8,000 in student loans!!! UUUGGGHHH try to use the money to pay that off, you'll be really happy when you do! Then when you are ready, buy a $30,000 car if that is what you want! You'll be happy you did so!

This job that I want, a degree really doesn't give you any more money. The way that you get paid more is if you have been certified within the governement.. its complicated. Also the more years you work the more money you make bc your experience has built up.

you think you are going to want or stay in the same job for your WHOLE life??? This is what I mean by FUTURE CONSEQUENCES! You have NO idea what job you'll be in in 5 years! You have no idea if you'll like this job you want now in 5 years, or if they will keep you or anything like that! Ive switched 'jobs' probably 5x from age 21 to age 31! Each time for more money! And each switch I would have made even MORE money if I had a degree! hence why Im going back again in Jan to try again to get it!

REALLY think about this girl!!! I mean think about the future too, at 17 you think 30 is AGGEESSS away, but honestly the time FLIES!! I cannot believe Im not in my 20s anymore! I mean just yesterday I was 22!

Superstarkba, celstu1 has given you wonderful advise. Maybe your grandmother could get along without college but today it's a different world. Married couples even with college are just making ends meet with good jobs so without it, it will make your life so much harder. My daughter in law works for the government and she would have never gone up the ladder without college behind her, she would not have even been giving an interview to the type of job she wanted.

Just think about it. Going back to school when you are married and possibly have a child is the hard way and it takes you three times as long. Hugs, Joan
