| I think they should have done a home visit, and if it were a proper home they should have left it where it was in a loving home.

| Poor kids. I hope all of the publicity Ellen is giving to this pushes the rescue agency to at least review the family's situation and let them make an applicaton for the dog. Hope there is resolution soon. |

| What a terrible situation. Obviously the rescue doesn't have the best interest of the dog or they would have at least done an evaluation of the home. If they aren't looking out for the dog, who are they looking out for??? Themselves??? This move sure isn't going to get them a lot of good publicity!

| There are currently 1270 signatures and it looks like the Mutts and Mom site is down.

| Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I signed the petition, sent an email to the shelter, and posted on Ellen's website. If anything else pops up, I'll do what I can to help towards the return of Iggy.

| They should have assessed the home and once they found it to be acceptable, they should have let Iggy stay with the family.

| YT 1000 Club Member | I know it's sad that they took the dog from the girls... But they do have a right to do what they did if it was in a contract and is standat protocal for them... That's the reason they had it in the contract... Ellen was really to blame for signing a contract that she didn't read all the way though or one that she just decide didn't matter. I know that it was wrong the way they took the dog from the girls but maybe they decided to take the dog way then do the research about the home before they decided to give the dog back. We don't know the whole story. |

| yeah that is all kind of ridiculous of them to just take the dog away, but I wonder if they did it to get their name on the news basically for exposure! I mean LOTS of people sadly cannot keep pets for different reasons and ellen did a good thing by finding this baby a good home instead of back to the shelter. I don't see what is wrong with what she did bet there is more to it than just that, what do you think?
