| Sun burned and Peeling I got sun burned a few weeks ago really bad, I ended up with sun poisoning. My sunscreen didn't work. It was a new bottle. Anyway, I am peeling really bad STILL. NO matter how much exfoliating I do and how much lotion I put on, I am still peeling really bad. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this peeling?? I am getting really frustrated. It looks gross. I did find out that when you have serious sun burn like I did, you can take white vinegar and poor it over the burn while in the shower and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and it takes the sting out. Seriously, it worked. Any advice about the peeling would be greatly appreciated. |

| At least the pain is gone, now you are only down to the peeling, itching skin. I am a graduate from "The School Of Hard Knocks". Don't know if you have ever heard of it, but it's a school of hard lessons I have learned over 50 years. Yep, I'm at least that old anyway. The only thing that will help your skin is Mother Nature and Time. Burned skin peels away, as new skin under it grows. Don't hurry Mother Nature. She is working on your skin as fast as possible.

| I use an aloe cream and a coco butter cream to moisturise my skin and in the shower I use a moisturising scrub from lush www.lush.com called buffy the backside slayer which is all scrubby and moisturising! I got really burnt too and this I swear is the only thing that works to stop the peeling! http://usa.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/2...nd=00010:upd=y this is the link to the product |
